How do I sign up for text notices?

Library patrons with checked out materials automatically receive system-generated email notices regarding their accounts. Patrons may also elect to receive text notices. This service is recommended when email is not regularly accessible or used, as they provide an additional alert when items are due or overdue; when fees are owed; and when an item on hold becomes available.
To register for these notices:
Go to the library catalog. At the top of your screen click "My Account." Log in using your barcode number and your last name.
Under "SMS Notifications" click the "Add SMS Notification" button.
Enter a label for your device (e.g. "Mobile"), enter your mobile number, and select the notices you would like to receive. Then click "Save." (Standard text messaging rates apply.)
